HELLSHOT KILLBLADE: ~TURN TO DUST; SHOT TO DEATH~

Made for Bullet Hell Game Jam V, this was created for those into chuunibyou aesthetics, whether ironically or unironically. This game combines the classic bullet hell gameplay with the simple idea of "What if there was a style gauge and a parry button?" Here, your style is your health- drop below D and you'll meet your doom and desolation! Gain style shooting the enemy and by parrying right at the moment a bullet would hit you! Be careful though- mistime the parry and pay the consequences!

• Meet all the characters in HELLSHOT KILLBLADE: ~TURN TO DUST; SHOT TO DEATH~!  They're all super cool!

• Get Stylish! The parry mechanic is the bomb mechanic! The higher the style, the more bullets cleared! The higher the style, the stronger your attacks! Choose to use your parry offensively at a higher risk, or save it for defensive emergencies! Both will have consequences!

• Take a small reading break! There's always more bullets to come back to!

• Try out some patterns! Don't get hit! Hold shift to focus, but focus too long and you'll be locked out of it! The sword on your back means you can parry! If it disappears, it means your parry is on cooldown until it comes back!

• Get ready for some fancy shootin'!

Arrow Keys: Movement

Shift: Focus (Bullet spread changes, hurt box becomes visible, and speed lowers for better control)

Z: Shoot

X: Parry

Esc: Pause/Skip Cutscenes
